(Toronto, ON) – A new poll by Liaison Strategies for the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada (NEPMCC), the industry association representing Canada’s non-official language newspapers, TV, radio, and online news media, shows Mark Carney's Liberals holding a four-point lead at 39%.
The rolling survey, conducted from March 12 to March 14, 2025, used interactive voice response technology to poll 1,500 Canadian voters. The results have a margin of error of +/- 2.53%, 19 times out of 20.
Liaison Strategies, a member of the Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC), was the most accurate polling firm in the 2025 Ontario Provincial Election.
"Our daily tracking indicates both the Liberals and Conservatives have gained one point, with the Liberals maintaining their four-point national lead," said David Valentin, Principal at Liaison Strategies.
"These figures continue to suggest a Liberal majority government, as the party's vote efficiency and strong leads in Quebec and Ontario would translate into significant seat gains."

"With ongoing media coverage of Mr. Carney in recent days, we’ll be monitoring whether the extended attention on the cabinet swearing-in and the repeal of the consumer carbon tax leads to a boost in support. It’s still early, and there’s more to unfold," concluded Valentin.
