(Toronto, ON) – A new Liaison Strategies poll for the National Ethnic Press and Media Council (NEPMCC) finds London mayor Josh Morgan notching a 61% approval rating with housing the top issue of Londoners.
Conducted from October 22-23, 2025, using interactive voice response technology, the poll surveyed 800 London voters. The margin of error for the poll is +/- 3.46%, 19 times out of 20.

David Valentin, Principal at Liaison Strategies, said the following:
If an election were held today London Mayor Josh Morgan would win re-election with 55% of the vote - assuming he was facing his 2022 opponents, Khalil Ramal (32%) and Sandie Thomas (5%). That being said, 17% of voters are undecided and given that Morgan won with 65% of the vote, these numbers show a tightening in the race. In 2022, Morgan won by 43 points, here he is winning by 23.

In any event, Londoners mostly approve of the job Morgan is doing as mayor with 61% saying they approve his work and only 27% saying they disapprove. That gives Morgan the third best net approval rating of the ten Ontario mayors we tested.

London voters say affordable housing is the top issue (24%) with crime in second (19%) and taxes in third (15%).

Meanwhile, the federal Liberals are in a statistical dead heat with the federal Conservatives, with the Liberals at 43% and the Tories at 40%. The NDP are in third with 11% while the Greens are further behind at 3%. All signs point to London being a battleground in the next election.
It's important to note this survey tested generic party support and not local candidates names, but either way these numbers point to competitive races.
