The following are endorsements and comments from students of Liaison courses over the past two years.
Andre St-Pierre of Royal & Sun Alliance took a one month intensive English course in Spring of 1999. Although very comfortably at the intermediate level of language proficiency, he was especially nervous when using the telephone.
"I am now more comfortable and confident when speaking English in a variety of situations," says Mr. St-Pierre. "I am no longer afraid to pick up the telephone. I used to write out my conversation beforehand, but I have conquered that fear. My conversation flows more easily ."
Mr. St-Pierre particularly appreciated the way his teacher's approach kept his interest high. "I liked the variety of outings in and around Montreal. I learned so much new vocabulary, aside from work-related terms. Through these activities, I discovered my city in a whole new language."
On the methodology: "I especially like the way the teacher integrates correction into the conversation or exercise, rather than interrupting the process. It is very subtle, yet highly effective."
Ms. Rosaline Malo, also of Royal & Sun Alliance, was in a group of debutants taking a 40 hour English course. Ms. Malo had taken other English courses, "but I didn't progress the way I have in this one. I am much more confident and I am aware that I have learned to speak English more easily."

Excellent follow-up to the courses Beverly Colquhon of EDS Systemhouse took a French oral and writing course. "I have never had such good language training anywhere. I had the best teacher ever who worked with me on my weaknesses, and made sure I was ready before moving ahead.
